Policies

Bookings, payments, refunds, & more:

• We accept credit cards, checks and cash for purchases.
• All purchases for classes, memberships, packages, and wellness services are non-refundable.

Yoga Classes: Memberships, Packages, and Individual Classes

• The pricing above applies to the yoga classes offered on our active weekly schedule.
• Classes and workshops may be purchased online or in the studio.
• Class packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• If your class package expires, you may purchase a new class package (of equal or greater value) and we’ll happily roll any unused classes into your new package.
• Unlimited monthly auto-renew packages require a 3-month minimum commitment. After 3 months, memberships may be frozen in 1-month increments, beginning with the next billing cycle. Freeze requests must correspond with your billing period. Weekly holds are not available.
• Monthly auto-renew packages require 48 hour notice to cancel, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Annual memberships may be frozen once for up to 1 month.

Class Registration

• Please pre-register to reserve your spot in the studio or online.
• In-studio class spaces are held until 2–3 minutes before class begins. If you haven’t arrived, your spot may be offered to a waiting walk-in student.
• Online class links are sent 50 minutes before class begins.
• Teachers open the Zoom room approximately 15 minutes before class begins so you can join early and settle in.

Wellness Service 

• A credit card is required at the time of booking to secure all wellness appointments.
• A 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all wellness services. Cancellation notice is counted from the start time of your scheduled appointment.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in 50% of the service cost being charged as a cancellation fee.
• If a client does not show up for their appointment, 100% of the service cost will be charged.
• Pre-paid wellness packages and single-session purchases are non-refundable.

We appreciate your understanding — these policies help us honor the time of our skilled wellness practitioners and keep scheduling dependable for all students.

Workshops

• A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to receive a refund back to your studio account.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the workshop start time forfeit the workshop cost.
• For workshops led by special guest presenters, a 7-day cancellation notice is required to receive a refund.
• No-shows are not eligible for refunds.

Our workshops are guided by skilled teachers who offer their time, care, and expertise with intention. Most events include a waitlist, so honoring cancellation windows helps us respect our presenters’ time and support a smooth, reliable experience for all attendees. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Retail

• We offer store credit or exchange within 14 days with a receipt.

• Clothing must be unworn with tags intact to be eligible for store credit or exchange.

• Opened audio and video items are not eligible for return or exchange.

• Sale items are final and non-refundable.

Studio Etiquette

• Keep voices soft in studio spaces.

• Leave shoes in the lobby cubbies before class.

• Please refrain from perfumes and scented lotions in practice spaces.

• Turn off all devices — including cell phones, smart watches, and Apple Watches — to avoid distractions for you and your neighbors.

Children and Yoga Classes at TYS

The minimum age for children to participate in general TYS yoga classes is 13. If you are interested in sharing the practice of yoga with your child, The Yoga Sanctuary recommends setting up a private session to explore the practice together with one of our amazing teachers. In this session we can then help to establish if your child is ready to integrate into an adult class.
