A retreat is an invaluable tool we can use to take a break from the world of expectations and responsibilities, to focus inward, and recharge our spiritual batteries.\u00a0Many types of retreats meet a wide variety of interests\u2014writers\u2019 retreats, artists\u2019 retreats, spiritual retreats, walking retreats, silent retreats, and yoga retreats<\/em>. The common element among all of these is this concept of \u201cretreating\u201d or stepping back from our day-to-day routines. At The Yoga Sanctuary we regularly offer retreats of all lengths from the simple (and local) day retreat to week-long adventures afar. Take a look below at what we have coming up. In the midst of life\u2019s changes, challenges, and demands, it is essential to find time to pause, unplug, and reconnect with our inner essence and embrace our true nature. The Yoga Sanctuary invites you to join us for a transformative week-long retreat where we will delve into the profound teachings of yoga philosophy and the timeless wisdom that guides us back to our true nature. Nestled in the breathtaking Northern Rocky Mountains and supported by the idyllic surroundings of Feathered Pipe Ranch, our journey will take us into the heart of connecting with our higher Self\u2014the unchangeable core of our being.<\/em><\/p>\n

Each of our days together will include a silent morning meditation and three yoga practices, all between 30 and 90 minutes long. These all-level classes are designed to quiet your mind and open your heart, while also creating the space for you to go inward. Our classes will be supported by the day\u2019s philosophical exploration, thus bridging the gap between the body, mind, and spirit. In addition, you will be offered daily journal prompts supported by quotes and poetry to help you establish and nurture your inner explorations. There will also be opportunities to take your practice deeper with limited one-on-one sessions, self-practice time, and two extended mid-week workshop intensives.<\/p>\n

Our time at Feathered Pipe Ranch is intended to be a time of quiet inward reflection. With plenty of space for you to embrace the nature of our surroundings, you can hike a trail, climb a mountain, or take a canoe out on the water. After your activity feel free to soak in the hot tub, relax in the sauna, enjoy a massage, or just simply sit in a hammock and read a book.<\/p>\n
