The faculty includes local RYT Yoga Instructors and World-Renowned Guest Instructors who will provide you with one of the best Training Programs in Southwest Florida. The Yoga Sanctuary is proud to present the following guest Master Teachers for the 2010 – 2011 Teacher Training Program:

David Keil – Physical Anatomy
David Keil is an authorized Ashtanga teacher who has traveled around the world teaching anatomy to yoga practitioners and teachers. As an instructor of Kinesiology (the study of movement and musculoskeletal anatomy) at Miami’s Educating Hands School of Massage, David had developed a fun, informal and informative style of teaching. The simplicity and accessibility of the information as David presents it brings the anatomy alive in a way that you have never experienced before and allows you to make your own connections to your practice. For more information on David, please visit his website at www.yoganatomy.com

Alan Finger – Subtle Anatomy (Chakras & Tantra)
South African Tantric and Kriya Yoga Master Alan Finger began studying yoga at the age of 16 with his father Mani Finger and renowned swamis of the past century. Alan and Mani created ISHTA Yoga. ISHTA is an acronym for The Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda, and also translates to “that which resonates with the individual spirit” in Sanskrit. The ISHTA style integrates breath-based flow yoga with alignment, meditation, and healing bodywork. Before creating a home for ISHTA, Alan co-founded Yoga Zone, Be Yoga, and Yoga Works. Alan has co-authored several books including Introduction to Yoga with Al Bingham and Chakra Yoga and Breathing Space with Katrina Repka. Alan travels the world to share his teachings. He currently lives and teaches in New York City where he co-owns ISHTA Yoga with his partner, Julie Wilcox and his wife, Sarah Platt-Finger.

Bobby Clennell
Bobby Clennell has been a direct student of B.K.S. Iyengar, Geeta Iyengar and Prashant Iyengar for over 30 years. She is the author and illustrator of The Woman’s Yoga Book and children’s book, Watch Me Do Yoga. Bobby also created “Yoga Yantra”, a short animated film based on the movements of B.K.S. Iyengar during his own yoga practice. As a core faculty member of the Iyengar Yoga Institute in New York, Bobby tours nationally and internationally.
