community & charity
charity
The Yoga Sanctuary is proud to team up with local organizations and non-profits in our community. The following is a collection of just a few of the groups that we have worked with to raise money over the years. We often donate gift certificates to local charity fund raisers, so please call if you’d like us to be a part of your charity event.
Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center
CHEC’s mission is to provide environmental education, research, recreation, and conservation to the citizens and visitors of the greater Charlotte Harbor area.
Homeless Coalition
The mission of the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition is to prevent homelessness and hunger by providing shelter, food, and assistance to persons in an emergency situation. The Coalition’s goal is to work to change the personal and societal conditions that lead to homelessness.
Somnio Outreach Services
Somnio’s dream is fighting poverty through education.
We are also proud to be the main sponsor for two charity events:
“Thank you for a wonderful outdoor autumn experience yesterday. Having never been to Worden Farm, where we are a member, I was grateful to learn more about the place and to see the earth working in action.” - Martha Pelot, 2008
